Undergraduate at Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.

areas of study

  • Concentration in Digital Media: Behavior & Design | SoC

    Related Courseworks Include:

    • Communication & Technology

    • Cultural Analytics (AI + Comms + Data Science)

    • The Public Image

    • The Crisis of Information Integrity

    • Principles of Rhetorical Criticism

  • Data Science from the Weinberg College of Arts & Sciences, Specializing in Python.

Through coursework in programming, statistics, and data analysis, my Data Science minor equips me with the technical and analytical skills to better understand human behavior through data. I am particularly interested in using computational methods to study online communities, digital platforms, and the ways people interact with technology.

  • HCI Certificate + Segal Design Certificate from McCormick School of Engineering.

Through coursework in computer science, design thinking, user experience design, service design, and agentic AI, I explore how communication, technology, and human behavior intersect. These programs allow me to combine user research, prototyping, and systems thinking to create products, services, and digital experiences that are both innovative and human-centered. Beyond understanding how AI systems and emerging technologies are engineered, I am equally interested in how people interact with them—and how thoughtful design can shape those interactions to be more intuitive, meaningful, and accessible.

Driven by a curiosity that extends across disciplines, I have intentionally built an academic experience that bridges communication, data science, and design at Northwestern. Rather than viewing these fields separately, I am interested in how they intersect to shape the ways people interact with information, technology, and one another. Together, these studies allow me to approach problems with both analytical rigor and human-centered thinking.

Throughout my time at NU, I have not only become a strong writer and communicator, but also a technically-minded student who can bridge the gap between people, data, & technology.

[Research]

Undergraduate Research Assistant [at] CollabLab.

CollabLab is a Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) focused lab within the Northwestern School of Communication that research, design, & develop systems capable of supporting group interactions and communication in a wide variety of contextual environments.

Currently, I am assisting a research project on Communication and Collaboration in Stewarded Open Source Software Development (i.e. Wikipedia).
